The demise of a 14-year-old boy due to an "isolated incident" that occurred on the school premises has left the school in a state of devastation.
On Tuesday afternoon, St Kentigern’s Academy in Blackburn, West Lothian, requested the presence of emergency services.
At approximately 1:20 pm, law enforcement officials were dispatched to the educational institution. A student in their third year of secondary education, whose identity has not been revealed, was transported to a medical facility but passed away shortly thereafter.
Police Scotland is currently conducting investigations to determine all the details surrounding the death.
According to a statement released by St Kentigern’s Academy, an occurrence took place solely on the school premises.
