On Tuesday afternoon, there was a call for emergency services to attend St Kentigern’s Academy in Blackburn, West Lothian.
At approximately 1:20 PM, law enforcement officials were dispatched to the school. A student in S3, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to a medical facility but passed away shortly thereafter.
Police Scotland is currently conducting an investigation to determine all the details surrounding the individual’s death.
St Kentigern’s Academy released a statement stating that the incident that occurred took place only within the school premises and was an isolated event.
